Performers from 'The Nutcracker' visit kids at LMC

The beauty of The Nutcracker could be seen and heard today at a local hospital.

Performers from San Antonio's Ballet 'The Nutcracker' were in town, bringing with them all the traditions from the classic holiday ballet.

Five dancers dressed as characters from the Christmas classic spent time with kids at Laredo Medical Center's Pediatric Unit.

The dancers also performed for the kids.

Their visit to Laredo is part of the professional ballet company's expanded community outreach efforts.
