People are stocking up on liquor in preparation for New Year’s celebrations.
Business was steady today at Mario’s Liquor on Saunders.
Many people decided to shop today and avoid the long lines anticipated on New Year’s Eve.
The storeowner says Christmas sales were very good this year and since people tend to wait until the last minute. He expects tomorrow to be an extremely busy day.
Just a reminder, all liquor stores are closed on New Year’s Day because of state law.
