3 thieves unsuccessful in car theft

Three men are behind bars after allegedly trying to steal a car and some auto parts at a south Laredo business.
It happened at the 500 block of Riverhill Loop.
Officials say 30-year-old Juan Gerardo Villareal, 42-year-old Justo Mena, and 34-year-old Miguel Angel Sanchez-Lozano were attempting to steal a car along with several motor vehicle parts and accessories.
All three are facing charges of theft of property and engaging in organized criminal activity.
They were booked and taken to the Webb County jail.
