Dazzling Night at Noche de Cabaret

The Washington's Birthday Celebration Association took hold of the Civic Center Auditorium last night and transformed it into a vibrant dance floor. It was all part of the LULAC Council #7's "Noche de Cabaret". Those in attendance say the scene was reminiscent of old school Latin-inspired cabarets. Live Conjunto bands played everything from Salsa and Merengue to Tango and Reggaeton. Last night, crowds were entertained by the music of Henry Brun and the Latin Playerz. Brun is a Grammy winning artist who has recorded several gold and platinum albums, and has even appeared on a few major motion pictures, including "Selena: The Movie".
