Thousands enjoy WBCA Air Show
Amazing stunts grasped the attention of thousands today at the Laredo International Airport for the WBCA Stars and Stripes Air Show Spectacular.
Our Annette Garcia witnessed all the action this afternoon.
She brings us comments from some of the viewers. One man said, “We've been enjoying it for the last three or four years.”
Another said, “This is the first time I’ve come to the show. It's an eye opener .We were just commenting on how great it is.”
High flying mid-air stunts, not only by plane but also by dirt bike, along with aircrafts of enormous proportions and the cheers from crowds wowing even the stuntmen themselves.
“Ever since you’re a little kid you always dream of flying.”
Jarell Bermudez, enjoys performing for crowd, “I used to be one of the kids watching. It's nice to know that I bring this excitement to kids now. It's awesome.”
It’s all part of the WBCA Stars and Stripes Air Show Spectacular.

“It's beautiful weather. Maybe that’s why there are a lot more people this year.”
Even American rock star Ted Nugent made a surprise appearance.
With great food to top off all the festivities, dads say they'll continue bringing the family.
“It's a great opportunity to come out and enjoy the great weather, spend time with the community, and see some of these great shows.”
“We love it. It's great. There’s a lot of laughter, excitement, and tension when they go up in the air. We love it.”
