Law enforcement officials in Webb County continue monitoring the situation on the border as stories of violence continue to emerge from Nuevo Laredo. Webb County Sheriff Martin Cuellar says in constant contact with a law enforcement liaison across the border. He says agencies on this side are always updated and are prepared to enter any situation. "We're working with Border Patrol with the Texas Department of Public Safety. Most events that we have we invite all law enforcement agencies. I think it's very important that we work together in conjunction with federal state and local officials to maintain the peace," says Webb County Sheriff Martin Cuellar. Cuellar says most of the reports continue to be about constant shootings that have left many vehicles damaged.
