Cocaine, guns found at home of Laredo PD Intel employee

A federal agency finds cocaine and weapons at a home in south Laredo.
According to our sources, the home belongs to a woman who works for the Intel Division with Laredo P.D.
According to reports, U.S. Marshals were looking for a suspect on felony charges in the 35 hundred block of Paradise.
Instead they found cocaine and eight rifles outside of the home.
24-year-old Severiano Contreras Jr. was the man in possession of 10 grams of cocaine and was charged with possession.
As for the guns, Contreras was not charged because according to reports he had permits for each one of them.
The investigation is still ongoing as officers are looking into weather or not the weapon permits are legitimate.
The home where all the drugs and weapons were found, and Contreras was arrested, is the home of an employee in the Intel Department who is a crime analyst at the Laredo Police Department.
Our sources tell Pro 8 News that Contreras is related to the employee.
We're also told that she was home at the time of the bust, but she was not arrested.
" At this particular time we can't confirm or deny, only because there is still an open and ongoing investigation into this case. There’s different elements in it, that in conclusion that there is another agency involved." Says Joe Baeza.
Officials tell us an arrest warrant for the employee was not signed by a judge because there was not enough evidence to link her to the drugs and weapons.
