Admitted Zeta enforcer sentenced to 20 years in federal prison

A Laredo man is sentenced to 20 years in federal prison in a meth case.

Twenty-nine year old Julio Cesar Campos, a Mixed Martial Arts fighter, admitted to being an enforcer for the Zeta Cartel.

He also said he transported $1.5 million in cash across the border.

On January 7th of this year, Campos was caught at the Lincoln-Juarez Bridge with about seven pounds of liquid meth.

Campos was sentenced to 20 years in prison, followed by five years of supervised release.
