A situation at Alexander High School over the past several days has students and parents concerned. Now the district is speaking out. Rumors have swirled over the past few days about a gun on campus even a shooting and a stabbing. Officials with the district say those rumors are just that, rumors, but they do acknowledge there were three fights on campus Thursday, and because of the situation, extra security measures are being taken. Parents of students at the school are concerned, and many of them are taking their kids out of school early.
