A Laredo school is recognized for its efforts in keeping Laredo beautiful.
Arndt Elementary received this month's Community Green Award.
Students and staff at the school do a number of things to help and protect the environment, and their green efforts do not go unnoticed.
Representatives from Your Good Neighbor Station, the Laredo CW, and Keep Laredo Beautiful were on hand to award a plaque.
The Community Green Award is presented each month to a group or business working to go green and help beautify the environment.
