A man is arrested leading police on a high-speed chase, but it's his passenger who's paying the price.
The situation started at around eleven o'clock last night when police saw 34-year-old Jesus Tafulla driving a mustang erratically.
They tried pulling him over, but instead of stopping, he sped off, leading officers on a chase with speeds of up to 90 miles an hour.
At one point the officer lost sight of the vehicle.
The mustang eventually flipped over, with Tafulla taking off on foot: leaving a 33-year-old woman in the passenger seat, severely injured.
He was eventually caught and charged with reckless driving causing injury, evading arrest, accident causing injury and aggravated robbery.
It turns out the chase originally started after Tafulla allegedly stole a case of beer from a local Wal-Mart.
