Still no ruling from the judge on whether or not Demond Bluntson will be granted bond.
The judge has now requested both parties re-file paperwork.
You may recall yesterday we reported that the defense attorney for Bluntson requested his client be given bond, since he was not indicted in the 90 day time frame required by law.
Judge Joe Lopez gave the prosecution time yesterday to submit case law to back up their side of the case, and was expected to rule today on the bond issue.
Today he asked for both sides to re-file their cases, with no deadline.
For now Bluntson remains in jail on no bond.
He’s expected to be arraigned next week on 2 capital murder charges.
