Bond Set At $6-Million For Joseph Allen Garcia
Bond has been set for Joseph Allen Garcia, who had previously been convicted of murder and tied to the Zeta drug cartel, at $6-million in the 341st District Court by Judge Beckie Palomo.
His conviction was overturned due to a violation of his Sixth Amendment Right to a public trial. He has been waiting for a new trial since then.
Garcia had previously been on the run in Mexico for five years before being captured and extradited back into Laredo.
