A man arrested for burglary has been sentenced to 25 years in prison.
Forty three-year-old Arturo Gomez pled guilty to burglary of habitation back in February and was sentenced to 25 years after Webb County prosecutors laid out Gomez’s extensive criminal history that included 27 arrests.
Gomez had previously served seven years for transporting marijuana.
He was arrested on burglary charges after entering a home by crawling under a garage door.
Police say Gomez had also been working as a handy man and stole musical equipment from his client’s home.
