An annual Christmas tradition came alive along San Bernardo Avenue.
Hundreds of Laredoans showed up for the official lighting of the city's Christmas Tree.
It's something that has happened for 49 years. It went away for a few years until the Daybreak Rotary stepped in.
They rekindled the tradition re-launching the parade and tree lighting ceremony. Since then it has continued to grow.
The tree lighting was the big finale following a Christmas parade complete with floats.
This year's parade was the biggest ever for the city with hundreds of entries.
