The city of Laredo is trying to clean up its image by starting a new campaign. And they want input from Laredoans. The city of Laredo is teaming up with local businesses including your good neighbor station and asking you to name the pride in Laredo.
City officials want you to take photos or videos, or just even write down why you love your community. The city will choose one idea and build an image campaign and reward the winner with prizes.
To submit your idea or pictures, drop them off at city hall or the Chamber of Commerce. You may even bring it by our KGNS studios at 120 W. Del Mar. If you can’t make it out to any of those locations, go to our website, Pro8news.com to download a form.
The deadline is April 1st. The winner will be named ambassador for Laredo on May 15th. Allegiant air has also now pledged to give four tickets to Las Vegas as part of the prize package for the person named ambassador of Laredo.
