A project that may have benefited traffic for a South Laredo neighborhood may be terminated. City Council is discussing a motion to stop the construction of an overpass on the the rail road tracks on the intersection of Arkansas and Guadalupe.
Councilman Jorge Vera says neighbors in that area had a lot to do with the decision. Vera also says stopping the project at this point is a good idea because the city currently has a deficit of eleven million dollars at this point.
