Over the weekend, U.S. Customs and Border Protection Officers stopped an attempt to smuggle in about $1.4 million dollars worth of cocaine.
The discovery happened Sunday at the Lincoln-Juarez bridge when a female driver, and another female passenger were referred to secondary inspection. The inspection revealed 46 lbs. of cocaine hidden in the vehicle.
The drugs, and vehicle was seized. The female driver was arrested, and turned over to Homeland Security investigations.
