Applicants vying for two county positions went before commissioners today.
The applicants were interviewed by commissioners during a special called meeting this afternoon to fill the positions of county engineer and facilities director.
The previous engineer and facilities director were terminated last month following their annual evaluation.
Both positions require a bachelors degree and several years of experience. The jobs are closely linked and commissioners are looking to hire people that will be eager to work together.
