Energetic and enthusiastic about life:
That’s the way friends and family remember 19-year-old Derek Treviño.
We reported almost one year ago of his tragic death, the night before thanksgiving, when a motorist who ran a red light killed him, on his way back from delivering a pizza.
Since then, his spirit was kept alive through various acts of local charity.
His family will be taking part in the upcoming "Walk Like MADD" fundraiser in San Antonio.
Their goal is to raise $1,000.
They only have a little left to go, as of ten o'clock Thursday night, they had almost $840.
