On the fourth of July, people don their best red, white, and blue attire, attend parades, and pop fireworks. But does anyone know how long ago the U.S celebrated our independence? "I sure don't. I went to school, but hey I forgot all that." He decided to take a guess. "200?" Others gave it their best guess. "100 years old." "More than 100 years?" "I don't know. 114?" One man guessed when our the U.S gained its independence. "1477?" Not quite. This man knew the correct year independence was gained. "Off the top of my head, I can't do the math. But I know we celebrated our independence in 1776." Another man says the same thing, but couldn't guess how old that would make the U.S today. "I know it was in 1776, but I don't quite know." Thanks to modern technology, he did use his cell phone to calculate the right answer and tell his wife. "237 years."
