A 37-year-old man is in the hospital after being shot in the back during an apparent drive by shooting.
Police are still trying to determine exactly what led to the shooting at a heavily traveled Laredo intersection.
The shooting happened at a stoplight at the intersection of Loop 20 and McPherson.
Police say 3 men were in one vehicle, and a shot was fired at the victim in a separate vehicle, hitting him in the back.
The victim made his way to a nearby Border Patrol station, where agents stabilized him and provided medical attention until an ambulance arrived.
The suspects drove off but police put a lookout on the vehicle. Laredo P.D. stopped them at Mines and San Mateo.
The three men fled on foot but police apprehended two of them.
The final suspect remains on the loose.
The victim is in stable condition and is cooperating with police.
The exact circumstances of what led to the shooting are still being determined.
