Elections have finally wrapped up here in Webb County with the run-off elections that were pending for City Council District Seven, we have your results first, right here on KGNS.
Jorge Vera the incumbent taking that race for four more years with a little over 63 percent of the vote.
That would be against his opponent hector Lee Patino trailing behind with roughly 36 percent.
We caught up with Vera shortly after hearing the results with his supporters at his headquarters.
Vera said, “we got 63 percent of the votes, it's not my victory it's District 7 victory so to all my team I want to thank them.”
According to election central 1,318 people turned in their ballot for this west side election.
