This morning we went out to Lamar Middle School to congratulate a teacher who is named this month's One Class at a Time honoree.
Eighth grade science teacher Norma Segura was given the honor for the month of February.
She is praised for not only using her free time in the summer to learn new teaching techniques, but she also uses her own money to help provide supplies for her students that can't afford them on their own.
To nominate a teacher for One Class at a Time, you can stop by the Laredo Federal Credit Union or your good neighbor station to pick up a form.
