Imagine a violation of privacy where you work, finding out a fellow co-worker placed a hidden camera in the bathroom, a local man was arrested, accused of doing that.
Forty-seven year old Steven Bullen, a former bookkeeper in the UISD accounting department, is charged with improper photography.
Bullen was arrested for allegedly hiding a video camera in the restroom at the United Independent School District’s central office off Lindenwood Drive. According to reports, he placed the camera in a fake plant on a countertop to record men using the urinal.
A man found the camera and reported the incident to district police, whose investigation led back to Bullen. He was suspended without pay.
Bullen resigned from the district before being arrested.
We contacted officials and they provided us with a statement: "The matter is in law enforcement hands and he is no longer employed by the district."
Bullen was held at the Webb County Jail under a $10,000 bond.
