HEB Cooking Connections: 2/25/13 Cedar Plank Salmon

Grilled Salmon w/ Soppin Sauce Glaze
1 salmon steak, about 1" thick
2-3 tbsp of Texas on the Plate Soppin’ Sauce
2 tbsp of Adam’s Reserve Southwest Rub or Spicy Salmon Rub
1 cedar plank
· Preheat your grill. Once your grill is at the ideal temperature, place your cedar plank onto the grill and allow it to heat up for about 5 minutes.
· Drizzle your salmon with your Ottavio Extra Virgin Olive Oil and season with your Adam’s Reserve Rub.
· Place your salmon onto the plank and allow it to cook for about 7-8 minutes or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork.
· On the last minute of cooking, brush your Soppin Sauce onto the salmon and enjoy!
