Add a little spice to your life, with this week's HEB Cooking Connection recipe! Melissa Espino shows us how to make Teriyaki Pasta that is quick, easy and at about 200 calories per serving. All items are available at HEB Plus.
½ lb of your choice of protein: Beef Shrimp or Chicken ½ jar Cookwell and Company Teriyaki Glaze 3 to 4 tbsp of Adam’s Reserve Teriyaki Ginger Rub 1 lb of angel hair pasta 1 cup diced carrots 1 cup diced broccoli 1 cup sliced cabbage 1 tablespoon sesame oil
· Bring a pot of salted water to boil and cook pasta al dente. Dice your protein and season with ginger rub and sesame oil. Heat your skillet to high heat. · Stir fry your meat until golden brown. Add in your vegetables and stir fry for another minute. Add glaze and allow to simmer for one more minute. · Fold in your cooked pasta and enjoy!
