Kids at Kazen Elementary School were treated to a special presentation by Cheese Chisholm with the Harlem Globetrotters.
"I go every year to the Harlem Globetrotters with my mom. It's so much fun and I wanted to share that experience with the school."
So Juan Esparza decided to enter a contest writing tips on how to not be bullied. He won and got cheese to visit Kazen Elementary to talk about bullying prevention.
"It's wrong of course, and of course I wouldn't like it to happen to me or anyone else."
His mom says she couldn't be more proud of her son for be a great example for anti bullying.
"I'm encouraging him and trying to be a role model to him just so he can be more kind, so he can let other kids be aware that it's not nice to be bullied and just encourage everyone else to be nice to each other."
Cheese Chisholm let the kids attempt some tricks with the basketball which they couldn't get enough of. At the same time he talked to students about the way social media has escalated bullying.
"I'm from the Bronx, New York and no one came to my school. So anytime I have a chance to go to a school I try to do the best I can."
