Police officers in pursuit of a 19-year old driver results in shots fired on the cities West side. Officers put up road blocks in neighborhoods on streets like Jefferson, Anna and Riverside. They say the driver of a maroon Expedition, Austin J. Flores, refused to pull over. It all started after a call about a domestic dispute on Lee Street, where police learned people at that residence were concerned for Flores’ well being. They spotted him driving in the area, but rather than pull over he allegedly led units on a chase for about ten minutes. That is until Flores reportedly lost control of his vehicle. Were told he attempted to reverse in the direction of police, leading officers to fire a shot and immobilize the Expedition. Flores is now in custody on charges of evading arrest.
