After a brief renovation period, three buildings at the Laredo Community College Fort McIntosh campus formally re-opened to the public. The state of the art facilities include a computer room unveiled during a special open house. Students, faculty and staff took tours inside the DD Hachar vocational technical building, which is located on the south side of the campus. The renovation and construction project started in January of 2012. School leaders say it will enhance the teaching and learning process on campus. These are the first three buildings of Phase 2 of the facilities master plan. Phase 2 is a $90 million investment to modernize the majority of the instructional and student support buildings at the campus.
