Laredo Paranormal Research Society Showcases Latest Findings

By KGNS News

"We love to investigate. We analyze and evaluate a lot of things in our careers so this was more of a hobby and becoming more of a practice."
Director and Co-Founder of the Laredo Paranormal Research Society, Ismael Cuellar, says the group gets a lot of questions from people so this presentation is a way for them to answer some of those. Something people are always interested in he says are the Marfa lights.
"When we visited there, we did some experiments with lasers and infrared cameras so we found very interesting responses."
One of the investigators we spoke to says he's been interested in this type of stuff since he was a young boy.
"Especially the spooky stuff. it's kind of eery so that really caught me."
LPRS Investigator, Joe Rogerio, says he loves investigating and getting explanations. The Laredo public library was packed with people just as curious.
"If we encounter any types of anomalies, we'll research the video, investigate and we'll see if it can be debunked. And if not, we'll take the case further."
But not everyone believes the paranormal activity so often seen here in Laredo and in the sky.
Some are skeptics, some are believers, some of them have personal experiences."
To those people who don't believe, Rogerio has this to say.
"Sometimes we can't find an explanation so it becomes paranormal."
