Police are searching for the people involved in Laredo’s fourth homicide of the year.
Emergency crews were called to the 3500 block of Cuatro Vientos around 10:30 Thursday morning after a man was found dead inside.
Police say it was a family member who entered the home and found 23-year-old Robert Carlos Benavides dead, surrounded by blood.
At first, it was believed he was a victim of a suicide.
After further investigation by authorities, it was determined the man had been murdered.
Homicide detectives are now on the case.
The manner of death in this case has still not been released.
