Hundreds of Laredoans took part in National Night out Tuesday night. The event was held over at Unitrade Stadium and featured entertainment, food and drinks. Residents had a chance to meet local law enforcement officials, elected officials, and learn all about the different non-profit agencies and city departments. Kids in attendance even had the chance to try on police gear, and talk to different members of law enforcement about their jobs. The event takes place in cities throughout the nation and is meant to help the community learn about the importance of keeping our communities safe.
