If you waited till Christmas eve to finish your Christmas shopping your by no means alone.
In fact, many shoppers said they were surprised to see shorter lines.
There was just one shopping day left before Christmas, procrastinators and deal-seekers alike were out in force.
but to many people surprise, customers expected to see a flood of last minute shoppers.
"other times that I've come its not as packed its not as packed as other weekends I came, like the parking there aren't so many people. It's not crowded so you can do much more," said shopper Silde Hernandez.
Despite an estimated 17-million shoppers this Christmas Eve, the mall looked like any other day one explanation is that shoppers got two full days of shopping because of the weekend being so close to the holiday.
Shopper Christina Garza, "there isn't that many people as expected so its pretty calm."
At any rate, last minute shoppers have a shopping list full of excuses of why they prefer this day.
"The adrenaline rush it's just so much fun coming out get gifts it's just the best thing to do," another shopper added,
"you don't know what they want and then finally they tell you the last minute you have to come and get what ever is left."
Job Confliction was at the top of our list of why shoppers procrastinated, but this little girl says differently.
“So why did you wait until Christmas Eve to do your shopping? because my parents are lazy."
