A very special individual reaches a golden milestone.
We're talking about Margarita Sanchez Uribe who today turned 105-years-old.
Mayor Raul Salinas joined her family and friends to celebrate the amazing woman and hear stories about her growing up in San Ygnacio.
That's where she was the assistant postmaster for many years.
The right hand gal to her husband, the late Ernesto Uribe, who was postmaster.
Mrs. Uribe received a plaque, a corsage, a cake and lots of well wishes on her special day.
Among those in attendance at her birthday party were five of her six children.
Not to mention, a number of grandchildren, all very proud of their loved one.
