The Laredo Police Department is searching for a man who attacked a local convenience store employee Monday.
Police said a stripes store employee was leaving the store in the 3900 block of San Bernardo just after 1 p.m. Monday, carrying a deposit bag full of cash.
The suspect asked her to hand over the bag but the employee refused.
They both then got into a struggle.
The suspect is described as an African American man wearing a shirt over his head.
He was trying to conceal his face with a gas tank that he was carrying over his shoulder.
