Man and woman brawl at Laredo Burger King

An argument between two people in line at a Laredo-area Burger King ends with a brawl and one man behind bars.

Police recieved a call shortly before seven, Thursday morning, about an assault in progress at the Burger King in the 3100 block of Farragut Street.

Witnesses say a woman was waiting in line to buy coffee when 38-year-old Abdul Brinson approached her. He yelled at her, used the N-Word, and the situation escalated into violence, to the extent of the two even spitting on each other.

Police arrived, interviewed several witnesses and arrested Brinson on charges of assault and terroristic threat.
