Police catch a man trying to flee the scene of an accident.
Arrested is 36-year-old Juan Gerardo Martinez for evading arrest.
The incident happened shortly before two in the morning, Sunday, when Martinez allegedly crashed into a light post at the intersection of Corpus Christi and Meadow Street.
He reportedly knocked down a post and brought traffic lights down too.
Police say he took off on foot, jumping fences and running through people's backyards.
He was caught in the yard of a home in the 1500 block of Guerrero.
