Marine Returns Home From Afghanistan

A solider comes home from war and our cameras are there to catch the heartwarming reunion.
Our Lauren Kendrick was there and has more.
The family of Marine Staff SGT Antonio Torres invited us to join them at the airport when he came home from Afghanistan.
We talked to his mom who says she is glad to have her heroic son home.
The family of Marine Staff SGT Antonio Torres eagerly watches everyone who steps on the elevator hoping it will be him.
"I was very excited and I was feeling that my heart was about to jump out."
Norma Torres was has been waiting to hug her son for nine months since his deployment to Afghanistan. She says she's very proud of her son for his decision to fight for our country. The moment she sees her son, tears stream down her face as she is reunited with him.
"I'm very happy to have my kid back and I'm very grateful to God."
It was clear to see Torres was happy to see his many family members who greeted him back to the gateway city.
"It's really nice to see my parents and the rest of my family."
He couldn't give details about his time in Afghanistan, but talking to him he didn't seem to think of himself as a hero like so many other people do.
"I do the job that's required for me. I'm happy to be back and just happy to see everyone that's here back at home."
His mom didn't waste any time on making him feel right at home.
"I'll be cooking his favorite meal and I'll be treating him like a king."
