James Gaona plays at the Imaginarium of South Texas with his united day classmates. But there's something this little boy doesn't know, he's about to get a visit from someone he hasn't seen in months. His father Staff Sgt Jaime Gaona with the U.S Marines is back from japan to surprise his little boy. Father and son are reunited after nearly a year of being apart and there's not a dry eye in sight. "Right now, I'm just happy, excited. I haven't seen my son James since last July." It's clear to see neither one wants to let go of each other and wants to cherish every moment together. "I only have two weeks here. I gotta go back to japan. So every second I get, I'm going to spend with him." In addition to the marine spending time with his son, he also wants to get some home cooking he's been missing while overseas. "We're going to go home and we're just going to eat. I'm in japan so I don't get a lot of mexican food and my mom, she's the number one cook." James took his dad around the Imaginarium and showed him off to his friends, obviously proud of what his dad is doing for our country. "I was so surprised." "I'm in the service. I'm thinking about you every day and just to show up in uniform, I think it means a lot to him." For once the exhibits at the Imaginarium weren't enough to keep James entertained. This little boy was only interested in spending time with his father.
