Mayor Meets With Texas Governor

Mayor Raul Salinas was in Austin.
The Mayor met with Governor Rick Perry where he attended a "Big cities meeting" with fifteen other mayors from across the state.
The meeting included briefings by state elected officials on various state issues like natural resources education and issues that impact the border.
The mayor says he looks forward to working with the governor on these important issues.
