Mayor Raul Salinas is starting a new campaign to encourage animal adoption. He is calling it the Option Adoption Animal Campaign. Salinas says he's an animal lover himself, and doesn't want one animal to be euthanized. He's hoping many local animal groups will come together to support the program.
