They came and went. We're talking about all of those military helicopters once seen hovering above the gateway city.
The temporary base of the Joint Task Force North has now been completely cleared at the Laredo International Airport.
That's where 250 military personnel had been operating as part of a coordinated training with U.S Customs and Border Protection and the department of defense.
A spokesperson out of Washington, D.C says those participating have returned to their official base in El Paso.
J.T.F North had been here providing border patrol with assistance in the interdiction of narcotics and transnational threats.
