Senior citizens of the community are invited to a free special health clinic to keep them in tip-top shape. The Senior Aging Moments Clinic will cover aging-related topics such as loneliness, depression, forgetfulness, chronic pain, tremors and lightheadedness. The program runs from 8:00 AM to noon Saturday, March 23, in the D.D. Hachar Auditorium on the Regional Campus, 1937 E. Bustamante.
Guest speaker will be Robert L. Jimenez, M.D., FAPA, clinical professor of psychiatry at the UT Health Science Center San Antonio.
Admission is free, and the event is open to the public.
For those in the medical, nursing and social work fields, this program is approved for continuing education credit. Cost for CME or CNE is $30. The activity is approved for 1 medical credit, 1.5 nursing credits, and 1.5 social work credits.
