A Laredo mother is taken to jail after allegedly driving drunk with a two month old baby in the back seat.
Nadia Lopez, 35-years-old, says she was going to see the baby's father to get money to buy food for the child.
She told police she had a few beers with friends before heading to the house.
Authorities say the baby's father called police to report the crime.
Lopez faces one count of driving while intoxicated with a child under 15 years of age.
Child Protective Services is also conducting an investigation.
