A big announcement is made about a new housing development built in Laredo that will soon offer affordable homes for lots of local families. The ribbon cutting for "Las Terrazas" took place at Lomas del Sur. The NRP group opened the doors to the new residential community with its partners, the Laredo Public Facility Corporation and Ejido Holdings. The housing development on South Ejido offers 128 units at a cost of 17-million dollars. Families can choose from 1, 2, 3 and 4 bedroom units. Besides affordable homes, the community also features enriching amenities and programs. Among them is the homework first program, a safe and educational after-school activity.
