A group of kidnappers is arrested in Nuevo Laredo and one of their prisoners is rescued.
Two men are arrested accused of holding a young woman hostage. This comes when the victim's mother reported her missing on Thursday when it was found the girl did not show up for work.
The kidnappers used a NEXTEL radio to demand a 23 thousand dollar ransom.
Investigators working the case arranged for the victim's step-father to make a payment drop off of about 24-hundred dollars.
It was there that one of the men was arrested. The other suspect was arrested at his home while trying to flee. Federal Police are searching for one other suspect in the case.
