Police are investigating a home invasion that happened right before Tuesday at noon on the city's north side.
Police say a woman was in her home in the 400 block of Chevy Chase when she discovered an unknown man was also inside.
She immediately called police.
Officers say the suspect gained entry to the home through the front door and are now trying to determine exactly what was stolen.
The homeowner was shaken up but unharmed.
The suspect has not been caught.
Authorities are looking for clues that could lead to his arrest.
