Prostate Cancer Screening In Laredo
Several Laredoans are taking part in research study to help find new ways to detect and screen for prostate cancer.
Prostate screenings were given for free to men between the ages of 40 to 79 at the Laredo extension of the U.T. Health Science Center.
The research from the participants will be used to help find more accurate and less invasive ways to screen for prostate cancer.
The doctor conducting the research study says better ways to catch prostate cancer early are needed.
