Laredo's mightiest super heroes were invited to Books-A-Million at Mall del Norte where they teamed up with the South Texas Food bank to fight against hunger.
People dressed up in their best costume in hopes of winning a prize for a the contest they held. Organize say they were happy with the people who came out. Salo Otero with the South Texas Food Bank said, "For every dollar we collect at the South Texas Food Bank, we turn that dollar into eight meals. So we thank Books-a-Million and I hope we collect a million dollars."
